With support from the California Arts Council, the REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA will provide the Esparto Unified School District with free field trip tickets to allow students and chaperones to attend Mondavi Center school matinees during the 2019-20 season. The elementary and middle schools will each attend two separate school matinees, enhanced by in-school visits by local or regional teaching artists prior to each school matinee and post-performance meetings with the artists.
The Robert & Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, UC Davis presents the performing arts to the Sacramento region, bringing emerging and leading artists in music, dance and theater, as well as thought leaders from around the world. Located on the campus of UC Davis, the Mondavi Center is unique in the region for its size, acoustic quality, and caliber of artists, audience engagement, and customer service. With strong roots in classical music, jazz, and modern dance, the Mondavi Center present performances to patrons from throughout northern California. Dedicated to providing arts educational opportunities that benefit artists and students on and off campus, the Mondavi Center offers school matinees to K-12 students each year. We strive to have our programs and services reflect and respect the diversity of our audiences, staff, students, campus, community and region, with a vision of universal inclusion and accessibility.
