Razorcake/Gorsky Press is a 501(c)(3) non-profit multidisciplinary arts organization. Its core mission is publishing Razorcake, a magazine dedicated to do-it-yourself punk, independent culture, and amplifying unheard voices. DIY punk culture is often misrepresented, misunderstood, and the target of exploitation. We believe in positive, progressive, community-supportive DIY punk. Razorcake is a one-of-a-kind resource and the only bona fide 501(c)(3) non-profit music magazine in the U.S.
Our open participation policy means that anyone can potentially become a contributor. Currently, Razorcake offers a forum for over 165 long-term independent volunteer writers, photographers, illustrators, and musicians from around the world. We take pride in our scenes and represent them internationally.
DIY punk is an exciting, evolving culture. Razorcake’s goal is to continue operating a modern framework where this community of independent, DIY punk can continue.
We do our part.
