Project Description

QUEER CAT PRODUCTIONS creates playful, curious, haunted theater and immersive experiences at the intersection of theater, games, and storytelling. We are committed to to curiosity about evolving forms; haunting: memory, resilience, genre-fluidity; and to the spirit of play, as interactive and consensual, as a space for risk and spectacular failure, as stories that we co-create, storytellers and audience, and that create us in return.We are committed to Paying Artists
We are committed to Queer Theater, and queerness as we define it loving community, playfulness, joy, upending hierarchies, and collective liberation;
We believe immersive interactive theater should be physically accessible, consensual, collaborative, and fun.
We know that Black queer and trans resistance has made our existence possible. To honor those Black leaders, we must dismantle white supremacy. You can read our commitments to fight anti-blackness here. [Link to commitments: https://www.queercatproductions.com/for-black-lives]
