Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, Mockingbird Improv will build out its new theater and classroom space, stage 200+ shows, and provide youth and adult improv classes for more than 100 students. This grant will allow us to rebuild after losing our former theater to the pandemic shutdown.

Organization Summary

Mockingbird Improv provides beginner through advanced classes in improv comedy and related performing arts for youth and adults. We stage shows for the public every weekend and provide a platform for seasoned and up-and-coming performers to share their craft. We also offer one-off introductory classes for free to the public.
