The mission of Music Is First! is to integrate music into the classroom to allow all students access to music, social emotional learning, literacy skills, mathematics, and science. Music Is First! provides in-school music and literacy residencies, professional development to teachers, music curriculum, as well as free resources (lesson plans/ instructional videos etc.) to teachers, parents, and an online community.
