Project Description

MC Arts and Culture supports healing of multi-generational trauma by providing spaces for Black artists to create, exhibit, teach and connect with other communities. We are membership based and consist of artists from various genres: Theater, fine, literary, dance, music, fashion & culinary; and are committed to the dissemination, and the preservation of cultural art forms born out of the Black-African Diaspora.

We seek out and hold up emerging new voices who contribute to the positive health and well being of their communities through their art and entrepreneurship, locally and internationally. We represent and present our members to a public and educational system seeking quality works that encourage critical thinking and promote positive health.

We are on a mission to cultivate a new generation of artists and audiences of the future, by mentoring and exposing students and their families to experiences that educate, enrich and enliven.

We imagine a world where Black artists use their craft to uplift humanity, one note, one step, and one word at a time.
