With support from the California Arts Council, Free Thought Revolution will open Creative Sols Ark, an art and cultural center that is a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodiverse, and other historically underprivileged communities to create art and community while discovering their career and life’s passion.
Free Thought Revolution has a strong track record of transforming underutilized and nontraditional spaces into vibrant, inclusive environments for arts and cultural engagement—particularly in communities with limited access to such opportunities. With the lease of a beautiful and healing 8 acre property, we are now developing sustainable art programs, and internships in the fields of agriculture, art, construction, and business with transportation and transitional housing opportunities for California Designated Severely Disadvantaged Communities (SDAC), Shelter Valley and Butterfield.
Roots & Remnants is an innovative arts program focused on sustainability, creativity, and community building through the transformation of upcycled and natural materials. The project will take place at Mamma’s Earth Seed Sanctuary, an eight-acre property in Julian that will serve as both an educational hub and creative space for youth and families. This outdoor venue will provide a hands-on, interactive environment where participants can engage in art-making processes centered around environmental consciousness, sustainability, and cultural expression. By blending nature and art, the program will foster a dynamic atmosphere for community engagement and cultural dialogue.
