Project Description
With funding from the CAC, Djerassi Resident Artists Program will support and enhance the creativity and careers of California-based artists from across the state by providing free, month-long live-in residencies at our ranch, giving artists uninterrupted time to further their practices and collaborate with fellow residents from across the globe.
Organization Summary
The Program provides – free of charge to artists – studio space, room, meals, and administrative support to 70 artists each year in the disciplines of visual art, media art, writing, music composition, choreography, and science.
