Dance Kaiso’s mission encompasses four main goals:
1) to preserve, perform, and teach authentic African-Caribbean folkloric music and dance forms;
2) to create, perform, and teach original Caribbean jazz fusion and dance theatre works;
3) to foster an appreciation for and understanding of the cultural and historical contexts of Afrocentric music and dance forms;
4) to engage students in performing arts production.
