Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Culture Shock San Diego’s Troupe Program will provide dance rehearsal and performance opportunities for dancers ages 5-24 years old from various ethnicities and backgrounds. Troupe participation improves physical strength, mental stability, self-confidence, and nurtures a network of lifetime friends/supporters.
Organization Summary
Culture Shock’s core programs and services are a Training Academy for all skill levels and a Performance Troupe Program for dancers looking to develop a higher level of discipline and perform for the public. Culture Shock’s rare combination of dance education and troupe programs allows its dancers to advance from student to troupe member to professional auditions.
