With support from CAC, CPFEA will launch Woolman Arts, an inaugural program dedicated to arts exploration in an outdoor setting. Comprising youth afterschool workshops and day camps, Woolman Arts will facilitate experiential learning, collaborative building, and skills development, and will offer mentorship to build leadership capacity of young arts educators.
Building upon a six-decade legacy of progressive educational programming, Woolman offers diverse educational and enrichment programs at the Sierra Friends Center campus, a hub for Quaker values. These programs include transformative workshops, arts programming, camps, and retreats for people of all ages, in groups or as individuals. Programming is offered on a 240-acre campus, a place where guests can study, practice, reflect and renew as they are immersed in nature, with simple accommodations, meeting spaces, and a working farm that provides fresh organic food.
