Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, Climate Creative continues implementing an online and in-person art gallery, called “The Climate Gallery.” This initiative culminates in a second VR venue exhibit that uplifts and supports diverse artists while also engaging the public about climate change realities.

Organization Summary

For Creatives (artists, designers, musicians, etc.) we do:
1. Professional development programming
– Year-long Artist-in-residence Program
– 8-week Creative Cohort Program
– Speakers and panel series
– Resource sharing featuring free/low-cost equipment and learning opportunities
– Create opportunities to show their work
– Creation of community artwork
2. Eco-creative community building (currently online-only)
– Online discussion platform
3. Professional environmental impact Education
– Speaker series
– Modules in our Creative Cohort Program
4. Idea Incubation
5. Direct Action Opportunities & Volunteering
6. Resource sharing

For climate orgs/activists & the public
