The City of Calexico Recreation Department’s mission is to enhance the quality of life by providing safe, positive and accessible sports and recreational programs and facilities; strengthening arts, culture, history and creative expression as tools to empower residents; and collaborating with other organizations to promote community pride, health and growth. Our vision is a city where the community is enriched by and has access to the arts, sports, recreation and parks.

Our purpose is to identify, create and implement enriching and affordable programs that are all-inclusive and serve our diverse community.
