With support from the California Arts Council, the BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF TUSTIN will implement the AWE (Adventure, Wonder, and Exploration) Program, a cultural fine arts program that provides incredible art encounters for youth (ages 6 to 18) that foster a new way of seeing, understanding and appreciating diverse cultural expression through art related experiences. Funding will be used to compensate personnel, supplies, guest artists, field trips and transportation.
Our Clubs provide a wide array of programs and services for youth (ages 5 to 18). They fall within 3 priority outcome areas: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Character & Leadership.
Academic Success Programs enable youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to achieve success in a career. In addition to the daily academic support and tutoring, we offer STEM programs, fine arts, financial literacy, college pathway programs and career/workforce development programs
Healthy Lifestyles Programs develop a young person’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults.
Character & Leadership Development Programs empower youth to support and positively influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image and participate in the democratic process.
