Bay Area Children’s Theatre (BACT) was founded in 2004 and today is recognized as a major creative force in the Bay Area serving over 175,000 audience members annually, the majority of whom are children, with main stage performances in Berkeley, Sunnyvale, and San Francisco; selected productions in local schools; and classes and summer camps in over a dozen Bay Area communities. Our mission is to inspire young audiences with imaginative productions, introduce children of all backgrounds to the excitement of live theatre, and create an engaging, entertaining, and educational environment in which children and their families can explore and enjoy the arts.
