Ballet Folklorico Anahuac is Modesto’s premier ballet folkloric Dance Company. Our organization offers Mexican folk dance and community programs to the residents of the city of Modesto. BF Anahuac currently offers classes in Mexican folk dance to individuals of all ages and skill levels. In addition, we also offer in-school arts programs and community based programs. Our organization offers classes to the low income, underserved Mexican and Mexican American community of Modesto, CA which has been designated as an impacted region. We offer low cost classes to the underserved youth in our community and offer professional level programming to the community of Modesto. This project directly affects the low income, targeted Mexican community of Modesto. With the creation of this program we will engage this targeted group with quality programming that teaches about art, culture and community awareness.
