Arts Education Connection San Diego transforms learning by bringing the joy and richness of the arts to schools and communities. We believe that the arts and artists are essential community resources that deserve sustained advocacy and long-term investment. We train and commission artists of all disciplines to engage directly with diverse populations through vibrant partnerships with families, schools, community venues, and other non-profit organizations. Our programming reaches participants of all ages, igniting the collective imagination of San Diego and inspiring students to reach their full potential.

Since 1963, AECSD has delivered a rich variety of arts education programs – performances, workshops, residencies, and professional learning opportunities – to San Diego communities. Our programs support the creative, academic, and social-emotional development of children, enriching the lives of students and families across San Diego County.
