With support from the California Arts Council, Artist Magnet will hire a full-time, QTBIPOC Managing Director to help develop its membership services for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ California-based artists and arts administrators, working with the leadership team to establish a new network-based, regional professional development program for marginalized emerging arts leaders.
Artist Magnet is comprised of a regional network of hundreds of artists and production members connected through their various performing arts works in a virtual network. The company provides the following free services: resume building, enhancing and sharing tools; archiving and promotion of its members’ live performances’ media; networking opportunities with leading California-based artistic directors and producers; nonprofit and production development consulting. Artist Magnet’s core programs are targeted to support emerging artists and producers from marginalized communities.
