The mission of Artes Vocales is to bring innovative choral programming to Los Angeles communities, to provide rigorous vocal training, and to offer career-enhancing opportunities to gifted musicians and composers. We are committed to enriching the musical breadth of our membership and audiences through partnerships with LA-based composers and orchestral musicians.

Artes Vocales aims to combine professional-caliber performance opportunities and the educational rigor of academic ensembles without the same barriers to entry. We are committed to providing both musical education and artistic programming that prioritizes equity, inclusion, and diversity. We offer rigorous vocal technique and training in an accessible, community-focused context. In doing so, Artes Vocales plays a unique role in the musical ecosystem of greater Los Angeles as a training ground for vocalists of all levels of experience, from the beginner to the professional.
