Project Description

The mission of Arenas Dance Company (ADC) is to preserve and promote the rich and diverse Cuban dance traditions and culture, and make it accessible to wide audiences via performances and classes. ADC was born from the commitment of our founder and director, Susana Arenas Pedroso, to educate and enrich the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area where she resides. ADC lifts up the voices of womxn, Latinx people, Black folks, la gente Cubana, and immigrants. We celebrate our stories of joy and hardship so our community can see themselves respectfully reflected on stage, empowered and beautiful.
