Two Public Art Opportunities at the City of Berkeley’s Aquatic Park:
Sculpture: A series of permanent sculptural artworks, at various locations along Aquatic Park Trail and/or Bolivar Drive, that inspire movement and exploration throughout Aquatic Park. Budget: $350,00 inclusive of artist fee, design, fabrication, transportation, and installation.
Wall-Based Artwork: This is an opportunity for an artist to translate two-dimensional imagery to tile, mosaic, or other permanent material. The artwork will be located at a prominent, large, curved wall situated along Aquatic Park’s pathway, near the intersection of Addison Street and Bolivar Drive. Budget: $70,000 inclusive of artist fee, design, fabrication, transportation, and installation.
