Theme: Calling artists to submit your manifestations of the concept Realms. This exhibit aims to showcase a variety of interpretations evoking the mystery, wonder, and imagination of how artwork can transcend the viewer into a new space. What story can a sense of space tell? How can a work of art transfigure the environment it is in? Where can your art take the viewer? As an organization which provides an environment for the visual arts, Art Works Downtown looks forward to receiving your creative input and sharing it for the public’s well-being.

Artwork Requirements (abbreviated):
San Francisco Bay Area artists only
Open to most subject matter including abstraction.
Open to all visual arts media including sculpture and video.
Original artwork only. No giclées or reproductions.
Images of explicit sexual content or violence will not be considered.
Size limit: artwork must not exceed 72” including frame, stand, and all materials.

April 11, 5–8 pm: Opening reception and 2nd Friday Art Walk
May 9, 5–8 pm: Second reception and 2nd Friday Art Walk
May 29–31, 12–6pm: Pick up unsold artwork

Application fee: $40 for up to 3 entries. Discount provided to AWD Artist Members.
