The City of Dublin is currently hiring for an Intern for the Parks and Community Services Department. The City is seeking a dynamic and versatile individual who is deeply passionate about the arts and committed to fostering artistic communities. As an integral member of the team at the future Dublin Arts Center, the candidate will play a pivotal role in its development and operational success. The ideal candidate for this internship will demonstrate proficiency in web page management, with a proactive approach to creating user-friendly interfaces that enrich the visitor experience. Strong research skills are essential to assist in securing AV sound and lighting companies for the black box theater, contract instructors for various arts and culture activities, a ceramics studio, and implementation of a docent and volunteer program. Experience in event coordination and strong networking skills within the arts community, including artists, educators, and cultural enthusiasts is highly desirable.
