Cal Performances is seeking an Artistic Administrator.

The Artistic Administrator reports to the Director of Artistic Planning at Cal Performances and will be principally responsible for assisting in booking the fine arts program presented and produced by Cal Performances across a suite of venues both on and off UC Berkeley’s campus. Administrator is responsible for preparing and tracking all contracts and performance fees for the Artistic Department. The incumbent provides high-level, confidential support to the Director or Artistic Programming regarding the budgeting process, fee negotiations and program details. Administrator ensures that contractual obligations for artists’ travel are met, working closely with Event Management & Production staff on air, hotels and ground transportation, as needed. Requires a thorough understanding of the diverse functions involved in a presenting and commissioning organization.

Salary Information:

The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $74,300 – $95k annually plus an excellent benefits package.  Salary offer is depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
