With support from the California Arts Council, Foundation for Dance Education will engage a highly-qualified website designer/developer to fully update and redesign our 13 year old website to current technology that is responsive to mobile devices, addresses accessibility, and presents a visually appealing, user-friendly site to serve our growing audience. The consultant will implement the redesign and provide initial training for staff who will be primarily responsible for updating content.
IPB produces 2-4 productions per year that tour to 3-4 regional venues presenting up to15-30 performances annually. IPB’s vision is to create the highest production values, present original and compelling choreography, and hire superb dancers recruited regionally/nationally, and from IPB’s Academy. Our education program, “A Young Person’s Guide to the Ballet” has reached 165,000+ K-12 students in 58+ school districts during its 30 year history. In the past, we have partnered with local schools as artists-in-residence providing dance instruction with CAC funding. Our Apprentice/Trainee Program selects 10-15 gifted dancers annually who train with the Company in its rigorous rehearsal schedule and perform in all productions.
