The City of Santa Rosa Public Art Program is excited to announce a Call for Art for the 2025-2027 Santa Rosa Public Art Walk, themed Urban Renewal. This initiative invites artists to submit temporary art installations that will transform downtown Santa Rosa into a vibrant open-air gallery, celebrating creativity and sparking imagination.
About the Public Art Walk Program: The Santa Rosa Public Art Walk connects cultural hubs from downtown Santa Rosa to Railroad Square, showcasing dynamic outdoor installations that revitalize urban spaces.
How to Apply: Submit your artwork online through the CaFE platform [HERE]. It’s free to join CaFE and submit for this call.
Key Details:
Theme: Urban Renewal – Reinterpret the power of art in revitalizing urban spaces and reflecting a vision of renewal and innovation.
Eligibility: Open to U.S.-based artists or artist teams, age 18 and older. Only previously completed artworks are eligible for submission.
Honorarium: Selected artists will receive a $5,000 stipend for the two-year installation, covering installation, deinstallation, and insurance costs.
