Marketing Director

Description

New Conservatory Theatre Center, San Francisco’s premiere Queer & Allied theatre company is seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing. 

The position is responsible for the overall NCTC image via marketing and advertising which includes design of print and electronic collateral, maintenance of NCTC’s website, creating e-marketing campaigns, leading outreach efforts, and sales strategies to achieve ticket goals. The Marketing Director supervises the Patron Experience Manager and Marketing and Press Manager along with freelance staff. This role requires adaptability, creativity, flexibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, board and NCTC’s diverse audiences. 

The ideal candidate will have:

·         The capacity to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment

·         Experience with Google Suite, Canva, Adobe Suite, Excel, Social Media tools.

·         BA degree and 3-4 years of experience in marketing or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred

·         Nonprofit and/or theatre experience a plus.

·         Have experience with MS Word, Excel, Salesforce and/or PatronManager, Photoshop

·         Demonstrated proficiency with online marketing and social media

·         Superior verbal and written skills; detail oriented

·         Superb communication and people skills; exercises good judgment, diplomacy and tact

Local candidate preferred; no relocation package available. 

Annual salary range $68,000-$70,000
