Our mission is to support the work of experimental dance-makers in Los Angeles. Show Box L.A. fosters an environment of connection, through artist-led projects and partnerships that respond to a need for ways to share work, ideas and resources among a diverse community of artists and audiences. We contribute to critical dialogue in Los Angeles about the art and legacy of dance – locally, and with artists around the country. With our mission in mind, we also provide a platform for marginalized artists who are in the Los Angeles community by providing space, time, and equal accessibility to create, collaborate, and experiment within their artistic practice.
