BrasArte has four major goals:
1 To preserve the traditional dances and music of Brasil and share culture of the African diaspora with California audiences
2 To foster community by providing opportunities to celebrate diverse expressions of creativity
3 To nurture new and emerging artistic talent across all generations and all abilities
4 To provide cultural exchange for artists, performers and students between Brasil and the United States
