The specific purpose of the corporation is to provide leadership and culture advancement by encouraging diverse and widespread participation and education in the arts, promoting community and education development to the under served residents of Calexico and the surrounding U.S.-Mexican border communities thereby improving the quality of life in the region. The Calexico Arts Council a public benefit corporation exclusively for charitable, scientific and/or educational purposes.
