Project Description

Rogue Artists Ensemble creates Hyper-theater: original, immersive, multi-dimensional experiences that celebrate the complexity and diversity of Los Angeles.

COLLABORATION: The beating heart of our work is collaboration. During each stage of development from inception to opening night, the open sharing of ideas is encouraged regardless of an artist’s role.

DESIGN: Evolving in tandem with the writing of the script, our design process centers around how and why we tell each story – disparate art forms, including puppetry, mask and technology, collide resulting in a creation that is truly one of a kind.

INCLUSIVITY: Behind the scenes and on the stage, we’re committed to including artists of all backgrounds and communities in our productions.

ACCESS: We pay all our artists and ensure our work is physically, culturally and financially accessible.

Since 2004, Rogue has differentiated ourselves through not only our dedication to creating original work responsive to the stories of our community, but also because our ensemble is comprised of primarily designers and multidisciplinary artists and not solely actors. We have created over 25 original productions that have been seen by over 200K audience members in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Seattle, Atlanta and Portland.
