The Leela Institute works to advance the art form of kathak (classical dance of North India) by supporting the creation, development and performance of new artistic works; by providing comprehensive education in kathak for children, youth and adults; and by engaging in strategic public activities to raise broad based awareness of India’s rich artistic and cultural heritage.
