The mission of the Calaveras County Arts Council (CCAC) is to build a united community by awakening, supporting and nourishing the arts.
Purpose: The CCAC believes that each and every voice matters. We explicitly invite
all voices to speak and be heard within the framework of mutual respect. By
developing an ever-widening network of artists, citizens, patrons and sponsors, we
work towards the mission of uniting the community through the arts. We firmly
believe that the arts can serve as a conduit to bring people together across gender lines as well as cultural,
ethnic, and racial divides to create a stronger, healthier, and more just community.
