Dancers’ Group is a hybrid dance organization that presents public events and provides a range of services to artists and audiences in the San Francisco Bay Area, home to the second largest and arguably most diverse dance community in the country. With a mission to promote the visibility and viability of dance, Dancers’ Group tailors its programs and services to the needs of the stylistic, cultural, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation and abled diversity of dance artists in the 11-county region it serves. This diversity of expression is one of Dancers’ Group’s core values, central to its vision of dance at the center of civic life and a robust, adaptable, interconnected Bay Area dance ecosystem.

Dancers’ Group’s programs unify the Bay Area dance community by leveraging resources and creating partnerships; strengthen it through direct services; and amplify it by increasing visibility for dance artists and engaging new audiences.
