The mission of International Eye LA is to present arts, cultural and educational programs that provide opportunities for individual and community growth and healing through creative engagement. The organization serves artists, youth, immigrants and international creatives whose visions and voices are not equitably represented in the communities where they live and work.
International Eye LA (IELA) fulfills its mission by programming public spaces and providing services in arts, culture, social equity, and education that seek to heal socio-economic disparities. It delivers multicultural, educational programs that provide a healing balm for diverse communities to engage and learn about each other.
IELA facilitates equitable distribution of resources and opportunities regardless of cultural origin, sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity or any other markers that create social divisions.
