The mission of La Maestra is to provide and support advocacy and community services that improve the overall well-being of low-income, culturally diverse individuals and families in San Diego and guide them along the path to self-sufficiency.

La Maestra is actively responding to communities’ needs through La Maestra Circle of Care®, a holistic, solution-based approach to providing programs and services that addresses the full spectrum of health, not just medical services. In doing so, La Maestra is building a safe and positive space where the overall well-being of communities of color are addressed and are equipped to rise above systematic barriers to success.
