Los Cenzontles Cultural Arts Academy amplifies the voices of Mexican Americans and makes visible Mexican American culture through its innovative arts education programming; performance of traditional music and dance, and cross-cultural collaborations; and, first voice media production. For more than thirty years, Los Cenzontles has challenged deep and historic marginalization of working class Mexican Americans by projecting a bold and pioneering vision of what an inclusive, representative American identity actually looks like.
