Overview:
The Director, Donor Relations & Philanthropic Programs reports to the Deputy Director, Advancement, manages the Senior Advancement Associate, Philanthropic Programs, and oversees MOCA’s annual and individual giving programs. This position is charged with meeting funding targets of over $1.3M in annual support, contributing to the overall growth of individual giving, including membership, and carrying a portfolio comprised of donors with major gift capacity. The Director, Donor Relations & Philanthropic Programs will integrate advancement efforts with all museum functions, including exhibition and education programming, public relations, marketing, and online presence.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent must be able to do the following: sit for extended periods; bend and reach for filing and other job-related functions; climb up and down stairs; bend, stoop, and lift to move and retrieve materials; pull, push, and lift; reach both above and below shoulder height. Specific visual abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to visually inspect work. Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment is required. Heavy usage of computers and phones required.

Salary Range: $95,000 – $110,000
