Eye Zen Presents is committed to unearthing and elevating LGBTQ+ histories so that we can better understand our lineages and ourselves. We create innovative, trans-disciplinary performance and community-building events throughout San Francisco, illuminating under-recognized queer ancestors. Eye Zen serves our audiences through live theater projects that safeguard and promote diverse LGBTQ+ histories. Eye Zen projects engage deep research, accessing the rich history available in San Francisco’s archives, neighborhoods, community members, art work, and institutional memories.
