Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, AAACC will contract with strategic planning Consultant Jeff Jones who will assist our Board and staff to develop a plan to operate AAACC’s programs and finance its staff during fiscal years 2018-19, 19-20 and 20-21. The planning process will generate a strategy that will combine fundraising and financial management and will enable AAACC to meet San Francisco’s compliance regulations. Awarded CAC funds will underwrite the planning consultant’s fee.

AAACC’S PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THE CURRENT STATE OF THE BLACK ARTS IN SAN FRANCISCO BY STRENGTHENING THE ABILITY OF BLACK CREATIVES TO CREATE, TEACH, PRESENT AND PROMOTE THEIR WORK. WITH THE GOAL OF CREATING A SUSTAINABLE BLACK ARTS COMMUNITY, AAACC FOCUSES ON THE CREATIVE, ECONOMIC AND HEALTH NEEDS OF BLACK CREATIVES.
