Governor Newsom Appoints Stanlee Gatti to the California Arts Council

SACRAMENTO – On June 21, Governor Gavin Newsom announced that Stanlee Gatti, 63, of San Francisco, has been appointed to the California Arts Council. Gatti has been the owner of Stanlee R. Gatti Designs since 1987. He was president of the San Francisco Arts Commission from 1995 to 2004. He is a member of the San Francisco War Memorial Board of Trustees and the California College of the Arts Board of Trustees. This position requires Senate confirmation and the compensation is $100 per diem. Gatti is a Democrat.
