Council meeting to be held virtually tomorrow, July 24The California Arts Council will hold its next business meeting tomorrow, July 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The meeting will take place online with public access available by web link or phone. Written comments may be submitted in advance of virtual meeting of the Council and up through the close of the meeting. CAC Administrators of Color Fellowship applications openThe School of Arts & Culture at the Mexican Heritage Plaza (SOAC), an Administering Organization of the California Arts Council, is currently accepting applicants for the California Arts Council Administrators of Color Fellowship program. The statewide pilot program will match 10 arts administrators of color, Fellows, with an arts and culture organization, Host Organizations, dedicated to equity and community engagement for a nine- to 12-month fellowship. Nominations open for WESTAF Regional Arts Resilience FundThe U.S. Regional Arts Resilience Fund was created as an urgent response to the impact of COVID-19 on the nation's arts organizations. Through the WESTAF Regional Arts Resilience Fund, WESTAF will administer the re-granting of over $1.7 million across its 13-state region in the fall of 2020. The fund will prioritize those organizations that are most at risk during this crisis, including historically under-resourced organizations, as well as those serving under-resourced populations, communities, and/or art forms.
