Nominations for CA's next poet laureate due July 25

The search for California’s next poet laureate is underway, with one week to go! Poets may self-nominate, or be nominated by experts in the field of literature. The deadline for submission is July 25, 2018. Details on the nomination process, criteria and more can be found in our press release.

NALAC Fund for the Arts webinars and consultations

The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures Fund for the Arts is a grant program supporting Latinx Artists and Latinx Arts Organizations working in all creative disciplines in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The deadline to apply is September 6. NALAC invites you to learn more by registering for an informational webinar on July 20, August 8, or August 22, or by scheduling a virtual one-on-one appointment with staff August 6-17. Artist opportunity: CARB seeks proposals for three public art projects

The California Air Resources Board is looking for creative and thought-provoking artworks for its Southern California facility in Riverside, developed by artists who will define the future of public art in California. The CARB Art Plan aims to foster equity and inclusion for historically underrepresented artists. Artists from all career levels interested in pursuing public art projects are encouraged to apply by August 31.  >>
