ArtPlace America analyzes creative placemaking in new studyArtPlace America has published a study assessing the strengths and needs of the creative placemaking sector. The report was created in partnership with Arizona State University, the Kresge Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts, conducted by The Bridgespan Group. Findings were based on a series of stakeholder interviews and field surveys to draw a "comprehensive and cohesive map” for the future of creative placemaking. Fellowship opportunity for emerging residency leadersThe Alliance of Artists Communities is now accepting applications for The Alliance Diversity + Leadership Fellows program. The yearlong fellowship provides networking and professional development opportunities for emerging residency leaders of color and emerging residency leaders with disabilities. The fellowship supports residency leaders interested in building self-awareness and management strategies and developing leadership skills and a deeper understanding of the context and landscape of the residency field. Applicants must be U.S.-based AAC members (or employed by an AAC member organization) and have worked in the residency field or associated roles for a minimum of two years.
