CA Poet Laureate nominations accepted now through July 25

It’s official: The search for California’s next poet laureate is underway. Poets may self-nominate, or be nominated by experts in the field of literature. The deadline for submission is July 25, 2018. Details on the nomination process, criteria and more can be found in our press release.

Creativity at the Core Summer Institute in San Diego

The California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA) Arts Initiative is hosting a three-day summer institute on arts learning and California state standards, July 25-27 at the San Diego County Office of Education. Teachers, administrators, curriculum directors, artist educators, arts leaders, arts specialists, parents, and school board members are encouraged to attend.  Click here for details and registration information.
