Arts and Accessibility program now openThe National Arts and Disability Center announced this week the launch of the 2018 Arts and Accessibility grants program, administered by the California Arts Council. The program seeks to enhance opportunities for participation in the arts by people with disabilities throughout California. Grants for artists are intended to support the advancement of their creative work and careers. Artist grants are for specific projects that contribute directly to their professional goals and development. California-based arts organizations may also request support for the hiring or involvement of artists with disabilities in arts events, and/or to increase the attendance and enhance the experience for audiences with disabilities.
