Statewide Arts Convening on Sept 26 & 27 in SacramentoCONFLUENCE 2016, a statewide arts conference, will be held September 26-27 at the Sacramento Convention Center, presented by the statewide service organization Californians for the Arts. This year's theme is "Better Together - Best Practices from the Field." Last year's CONFLUENCE attracted more than 250 arts leaders to Sacramento from throughout California. Key influencers and decision-makers will join together again this year to share ideas and to learn from thought-leaders in the field. With the support of the California Arts Council, the conference is able to provide a limited number of travel stipends to participants from outside the Sacramento area.
