Arts Council Joins Arts & Humanities Month

The California Arts Council will be joining the other 49 states to celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month. In the past, the California Arts Council promoted a single day in October as California Arts Day. This year, the focus will instead be on the national celebration during the entire month of October.

Californians Among Our Town Grantees

The NEA announced their 2012 Our Town Grantees with four California arts organizations among the 80 selected.
If every california taxpayer gave $1, there would be $15 million for the arts.
