Organization Summary

The Natomas Arts and Education Foundation (NAEF) was established in 2002 with the purpose of connecting and engaging students to the arts. NAEF has now expanded its original goals to include the support of a broad range of education opportunities to enhance the lives of youth and adults in the Natomas and surrounding community. NAEF now funds arts and education-related projects, supports local fundraisers, and brings national and international student and professional performances to Sacramento.

Over the years, in conjunction with the local school district and numerous community partners, one of NAEF’s greatest contributions was the establishment of the Benvenuti Performing Arts Center (BPAC). This $8 million, 14,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art performance space is dedicated to offering dynamic programming that inspires, challenges, and empowers students and adult audiences.
