DESCRIPTION:The California Arts Council invites you to attend our upcoming business meeting on Friday\, June 26\, from 10 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. The meeting will take place in Santa Cruz\, with public access available on location\, by web link\, or by phone. \nCalifornia Arts Council Meeting\nJune 26\, 2026\n10 AM – 2:50 PM \nLondon Nelson Community Center Auditorium\n301 Center Street\nSanta Cruz\, CA 95060 \nSimultaneous ASL and Spanish interpretation will be provided via Zoom.\nInterpretación simultánea en español – transmisión de audio por Zoom. \n\nMeeting Agenda\nMeeting Packet\n\nAgenda item highlights include: \n\nPRESENTATION: Arts and Youth Grant Program\nPRESENTATION: Individual Artists Fellowship Grant Program\nPRESENTATION: Impact of General Operating Funds Consolidation\nDISCUSSION: FY26-27 Allocations\n\n  \nShare your thoughts with us through public comment\nEach substantive voting item on the meeting agenda has an allotted period for public comment specific to that item\, as reflected on the agenda. Meetings also include a designated time for general public comment to address any non-agendized Council business. \nWritten comments may also be submitted in advance of the meeting of the Council and until 5 p.m. up to two business days following the close of the meeting. All submitted comments will be distributed to Council members. Comments submitted before 9 a.m. two days prior to the meeting date will be submitted to the Council before convening; all others will be supplied to Council after the scheduled meeting time. All submitted comments will also be entered into the official record of the meeting as part of the meeting minutes. \nPublic comment may be submitted anonymously if desired. \nMeeting details\, access numbers and links\, and further information on public comment policy and process are all available now on the Council Meetings page of our website. \n\nIndividuals who wish to provide live comments during the Council meeting must attend in person or join virtually using the web link or phone numbers provided.
